Brazil Brazil Restaurant at Metrowalk clearly stated their policy when we called to reserve. Net Buffet Price for the roasted meats and fruits, plus the international buffet is Php 615. Children 7yo and above will be charged full price, while 6yo and below will be charged half.
Our company was composed of 4 adults, 2 children above 7yo and 1 child below 7yo, so we were expecting to be billed for 6 adults at full price and 1 at half price. Yet the bill only charged us for 5 adults. I had to point out the item to the waiter to ensure they did not make a mistake.
A Veneto Pizzeria Make Your Own Pizza (Eye)
The arrival of the Extra Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza slice upset my niece. We were able to discern that when she read in the menu Make Your Own Pizza, she expected to really make her own pizza. We hastened to explain that it meant you can choose the toppings but the kitchen personnel will be the ones to do the actual cooking.
With my niece still visibly upset, we wracked our brains on what would be a reasonable request to management.
What we appealed to Manager Jan Gaffud of A Veneto Pizzeria Ristorante Mall of Asia was if we could order another slice of the Extra Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza, but this time, could they let my niece be the one to put the extra cheese and pepperoni.

Ten kilometers of “running and scrambling through urban obstacles” at the Bonifacio Global City will be what’s in store for the “urbanatheletes” during the very first Men’s Health Philippines Urbanathlon
This 18 November 2007 event hopes to attract physically fit individuals, both men and women, to compete either as individuals or as four team members. Aside from modest cash prizes, the ultimate prize is to represent the Philippines in the second Men’s Health San Francisco Urbanathlon in April 2008.
Chuckles — Sounds Like
My friend’s one year old nephew impressed his aunts with his fast absorption of new information. One of the games that they play is asking for the sounds of different animals.
Sweet natured, the young boy would answer whenever they requested for a particular animal. An appeal for a snake would elicit the sound, “Ssss…”
What I Did on 01 November 2007
Resting from Driving to the Mall of Asia I did nothing that had to do with the dead on 01 November 2007. Instead, I slept like the dead until I woke up refreshed at around 12 noon.
I was actually recovering from driving to and from the Mall of Asia the night before to attend Nickelodeon’s Mischief Madness. Instead of the almost empty streets that I expected, there were clumps or snarls of slow moving traffic, which lengthened the travel time considerably.
