ABC Apology GMAnews.tv reports that Nafcon (National Alliance for Filipino Concerns) spokesperson Rico Foz has stated in his email, “The simplistic nature of ABC’s apology only insults our community even more.”
Standing in the taxi stand line around 7pm on 01 October 2007 meant being eagle eyed to make sure that everyone follows the line. As I got nearer the head of the line, the visual stake out at the taxi stand in Greenhills Shopping Center had the added peculiar episodes of the security guard tapping sharply on the driver’s windows with a water bottle, with the intent of giving the driver the water bottle for free.
I broke the merchandise last night at 01 October 2007. It did occur to me to just put it back on the shelf and not say anything. However, knowing my own nature, I would probably have Lady Macbeth moments of “Out damned spot” that would trouble me incessantly.
So, I requested the National Bookstore saleslady if I could speak with the manager.
Another rainy Saturday afternoon, this time on 29 September 2007, saw me at The Coffee Experience listening raptly to the fascinating facts spouted by Atty. Abigail Serrano of the law firm Villaraza & Angangco regarding copyrights, patents, trademarks, tradenames and trade secrets.
Due to being a director and a writer, the Intellectual Property Rights Seminar from the organization of Network for Enterprising Women or N.E.W! is of utmost importance to me. And, may I take this opportunity to thank the other seminar participants, namely, Carrie Rabat, Bianca Lawas, Myren Garcia and Christine Llenes for their patience when I inundated the discussion with my questions.
