Tanghalang Pilipino with Mulan

Tanghalang Pilipino with Mulan Tanghalang Pilipino with Mulan - Undoubtedly, the children will be familiar with the storyline because of Disney’s animated version that’s also entitled Mulan. This knowledge will serve as a fine jumping off point to introduce the children to Asian theatre and its distinct style through Tanghalang Pilipino’s original production of Mulan

The costumes of New York trained Gino Gonzales and character makeup by multi awarded Dennis Tan are an excellent foil to the exaggerated theatrical style and the fusion of dance with martial arts by premier dance artist Denisa Reyes.

The following are some of the images that I was able to take of the cast in the traditional Meet and Greet at the lobby after the show.

Fitness First Platinum Trinoma Philippines Opening Postponed

I heard of the rumblings about the opening of a Fitness First branch in Trinoma from an instructor, which puzzled me because it was so near Fitness First ABS-CBN and North EDSA.

When I went to Trinoma, all became clear as I saw that it was a Fitness First Platinum branch, meaning that it will be patterned after its RCBC Plaza counterpart and will employ a different type of marketing.

SkyCable Stops Airing the Solar Channels (Ire)

I am mentally shaking my head ruefully as I learn that SkyCable will stop airing the Solar channels, namely ETC, Jack TV, and Crime and Suspense, effective 01 January 2008. This is totally consistent with past corporate decisions such as the attempt to get rid of the Star channels in 2001. It was only due to consumer clamor that that decision was reversed.

Numerous and vehement consumer demands may turn the tide once again.
