Cascada Restaurant Sliver of Silver Foil (Eye)
Of course, the fact that a sliver of silver foil was in the prawn and pasta dish did not sit well with us when we dined for the first time at Cascada Restaurant in Greenbelt 3 on 27 May 2007.
However, the acknowledgment of responsibility did meet with our approval.
First, there was the explanation of how the sliver of silver foil could have gotten there. It seemed that a roll of aluminum foil was seated beside the prawn dish, and, in its preparation, the sliver was unknowingly and accidentally somehow slipped amongst the prawns and pasta.
Cambio and The Wuds at Route 196
Catch the rockin Cambio and the legendary The Wuds tonight, 09 June 2007, at Route 196. Joining the jam will be Elevator Action, Ishlavooh and Sympatika.
Cambio will open the 10pm gig so make sure to come early while The Wuds will be closing the show in the wee hours of the morning.
As a special treat, Elevator Action will also sing SpongeBob and Patrick Confront the Psychic Wall of Energy, the number the band sang at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2007 preview party.
The Cubism Productions gig is entitled “Ma’am May I Go Out?” because the show will benefit Sintang Kabataan, an organization that educates street children. So bring food, books, clothing or any donation you have in mind.
Angel Locsin — Pinoy Wannabe 2007 Winner
Angel Locsin was humbly apologetic for making us wait until the end of the Asian Treasures taping day before we were finally allowed into her dressing room to shoot the acceptance speeches for her Pinoy Wannabe nomination and win (which we did with John Lloyd Cruz and Christian Bautista as well).
Angel Locsin impressed me with her improvisational skills as we went thru the extra sequence wherein she has to encourage young superhero wannabe Alexa Catral via video.
Angel Locsin had to pretend that she was actually looking at Alexa when in reality she was looking at my moving hand, while improvising lines at the same time.
