Totally wrapped up in directing the Learn and Play with Barney SM Supermalls shows for the past three weeks, I had marked the event on my calendar, but there was a Barney show scheduled on 31 March 2007, the same day as The 2007 Philippine Blog Awards, so I wasn’t sure if I could make it.

Shifting to Destiny Cable has been an ambition of mine since 2001 when Home Cable was acquired by SkyCable and, consequently, a majority of my favorite channels started disappearing, such as the Star TV channels.
My fulminating irritation with the car cleaning attendants stationed at Shangri-la Plaza came to a head on 13 March 2007 when one male attendant “retaliated” by walking closer to my side of the car and raising his shirt to ostensibly fan himself with the shirt’s edge.
As a first time attendee of the Philippine Blog Awards last 31 March 2007, I was very impressed with the extent of the preparations behind the event, such as the venue— the remarkable Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium at RCBC Plaza, the presence of TV coverage and cocktail food, and the ladies and gentlemen dressed in semi-formal to formal wear.
