Chuckles — Searching for Whales

Arriving in Bais, a place known for its ecotourism that focuses on whale and dolphin sightings, we were disappointed to learn that our timing was a bit off. It would have been better if we had arrived during a full moon, when the lunar activity would have made the seas swell to a deeper level, consequently attracting the whales to pass through the celebrated strait.

Lose Weight by Drinking Green Tea

According to a study, drinking green tea, on the average, can make you lose 8 pounds a year. It may not seem much, but you have to remember that in order to lose just 1 pound of fat you need to burn 3,500 calories.

An Irreverent Take on Dog Trivia

Shoemart mall crowds were treated to the unique sight of costumed dogs as they participated in the dress up contest sponsored by Pedigree on 29 October 2005. Directing three of the hosts, namely, Louise Fernandez for SM North EDSA, JC Gotinga for SM Southmall and Neomi Tabanao for SM Fairview, I also gave them a list of dog trivia to regale the audience with and to fill in that dreaded dead air.
