Peter Pan — Movie Surprise

Electrifying chemistry—that’s the only way to describe the interaction between the stars of Universal Pictures’ Peter Pan—Jeremy Sumpter and Rachel Hurd-Wood. Coming on the heels of another Peter Pan based movie, Hook, I assumed Peter Pan as being typical fare when it was released in 2003. However, having caught it on HBO Asia recently, I am aghast at my stupid presumption.

Hershey’s Happiness Photo Contest

Hershey’s Bar & KissesThe Hershey’s Happiness Photo Contest was launched last August at the Westin Philippine Plaza. The chocolate laden dessert table plus the goodie bags would have made anyone brown with chocolate envy. I rue the fact that I only learned about this contest about a week ago. Otherwise, I could have joined the bi-weekly contests and had a chance to win these exciting prizes.

Dubai — Movie Surprise

Mimi Orara with Dubai posterI was delightfully surprised with several movies last week, so if you’re the kind of person who can’t stand knowing the ending, then be warned—there are spoilers ahead.

Dubai is produced by ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema, and this currently showing movie stars Aga Muhlach, Claudine Barretto and John Lloyd Cruz. It focuses on a sibling’s loving relationship, Raffy and Andrew, played by Aga and John Lloyd, and how it’s influenced by Claudine’s character—Faye; in effect, a classic love triangle.
