Trumpets Little Mermaid at Megamall

Little Mermaid CastThe 06 September 2005 buyers’ show of Trumpets’ Little Mermaid was held at Megamall Cinema where it is being restaged. An almost bare stage greeted the excited throng of buyers as they hurried to their seats that early morning.

Going onstage before the start of the show, Trumpets head Audie Gemora graciously thanked the buyers for coming to watch the show, while director Jaime del Mundo assured the audience that despite the pared down staging during the buyers’ show, it will ultimately bring Little Mermaid’s message a little bit closer to home.

Stages Footloose Stellar Performances

Stages, the sister company of the well known theatre company Trumpets, opened their very first foray into the world of theatre production last 02 September 2005 at the Meralco Theater with Footloose the Musical.

Although it may be its official first play, by no means is it the first effort of an inexperienced group of associates for it is headed by Audie Gemora and Butch Gimenez, the very same team behind the successful Trumpets. Unlike Trumpets, though, Stages was created out of the need to service secular projects like corporate events, talent management, Broadway musicals, pop concerts and TV programs.

Pizza Hut Interiors and Personnel Renovations (Eye)

New Pizza Hut InteriorsMy recent three visits to Pizza Hut and Pizza Hut Bistro have all been so wonderful it’s positively shocking. On my first visit, the interior’s new color scheme welcomed patrons with its warm red and blue tones. The mirror treatment that showed abstract lines turned out to be staples of Italian cooking upon closer scrutiny.

In a move designed to attract a new market, Sun is now offering the new Sun Daylite Call and Text Unlimited. At P100, it allows you to send unlimited SMS Sun to Sun, and to make unlimited calls for 18 hours (12:00midnight to 6PM) for 12 days.

Support Sun to Lower Globe and Smart Rates

The market shift to Sun Cellular in the telecommunications industry seemed to have galvanized the two giants—Globe and Smart—to offer new promos to entice consumers back to its fold. Thus, there is a proliferation of ads that proclaim Globe’s and Smart’s varying versions of unlimited texts and calls, or, at the very least, lower call rates.

So far, no offer has come close to beating the fantastic deal of Sun Cellular’s 24/7 unlimited texts and calls of P350/month or P100/7 days, or the new Daylite service.

Kuh Ledesma and Ebun at Greenbelt3

Dining under the stars while listening to Kuh Ledesma crooning with a 15-piece orchestra seemed like a great idea on a Sunday evening, so my friends and I hied off to Greenbelt 3. But we arrived to the sight of Greenbelt 3 park packed with an avid audience, despite the imminent danger of getting wet from the on and off drizzling rains.
