To celebrate its first year anniversary, Shang Cineplex in Shangrila Mall is offering a 20% reduction in its ticket prices, i.e., for cinemas 1-4, the regular price of P150 will be lowered to P120, while, the premiere cinema (with limitless popcorn and drinks) ticket price of P295 will become P236. This promo will run until 31 October 2005.

However, if you just drop by Shang Cineplex and expect to avail of the 20% discount, then I’m afraid you’ll be in for a disappointment.

Globe had a promo of unlimited text varying in the length of days, P15 for 1 day, P25 for 2 days or P50 for 5 days. It ended 26 December 2005, but, hopefully, will resume sometime this year.

For months now, the McDonalds Greenhills Drive Thru doesn’t have a menu that drivers can peruse before giving their order. Oftentimes, your orders depend on your familiarity with the menu and the counter person’s verbal explanation. I have pointed this out already to the manager at least three times on different occasions during the past months but there has been no change.

Aside from that, on August 21, 2005, I ordered breakfast items that included coffee and pancakes. The counter person handed me the bulk of my order and said there were a couple of items still missing.

A. Great care is taken that the puppeteers are very well hidden. Camera angles are chosen carefully to make sure the puppeteers are not seen. Also, if you notice, Imaw is usually beside some huge prop that covers the back effectively. If a prop is not used, then an actor is asked to stand beside Imaw.
