After all this hell i went thru and people telling me what i CAN'T DO..i bounced back & I beat the odds. ALL my doctors told me that i would be disabled & could never work & support myself agian. Man, lol..they couldn't have been more wrong. Today, I own my little woodworking shop and making a decent living for myself. I'm almost 100% and gettin'better everyday! ......I BEAT THE ODDS !! Mr Swayze, i hope you read this because no matter what life throws at you, with time & healing and a little luck, you can beat the odds too...just like i did. It's people like you that inspired me to give the finger to the people that told me that i won't get back to the life i once had. NEVER EVER lose faith and keep fighting the demon. My husband just passed away on 12/2 from a year long battle with advanced unusually aggressive colon cancer caused by airborne toxics making treatment very difficult. You know, my husband was more worried about my daughter and I but I hope I convinced him we will be fine. I know you probably do to but you have to get past that and concentrate on that positive attitude and getting better. I had 50 NYPD brothers and sisters at bedside and 300 out the door who also supported us all year. Your family will always be there for you as you will for them. As I know he is always here with me. My husband found strength through prayer and his closeness with God this past year and I know he was very scared...but he was SO very brave. You are a warrior too. So don't ever give up. I quit my job to be with him every day the last 7 months to fight side by side with him and find the best treatments. His huge support system, his hope and extremely positive attitude kept him with me much longer than anyone expected. I'm praying you will pull through this, and don't lose hope. I'm sorry understandably I got teary-eyed watching only 2 minutes of the interview but I will try and watch it complete. If you can Patrick please listen to my internet radio show on colon cancer. And I dare to mention that if you ever want to I'd be honored to have you as a guest on my anniversary show I'm planning to air. I'd love to do a very short interview with you if you feel up to it. My son-in-law had colon cancer and he is treating it sucessfully with Protocel and PawPaw. You can Google these also.
