Chuckles — From Vanilla and Chocolate to Strawberry Ice Cream
After a satisfying meal, I asked my sister-in-law if they had ice cream, preferably something with chocolate. When she said yes, I eagerly rummaged through the tins of ice cream in the freezer until I came upon a Cookies ‘N Creme variant, which is a combination of vanilla ice cream with bits of chocolate cookies.
As I brought the ice cream to the dining room, my six-year-old nephew spied the dessert and asked if he could have some. Of course I said yes, but, I watched in apprehension as he used the scooper to get three rounds of ice cream.
Chuckles — Can I Have Your Chocolate Please?
During the intermission of High School Musical The Ice Tour on 12 July 2008, I went to Starbucks to buy their Signature Hot Chocolate. Knowing that its 50% chocolate content would probably attract my nephew and niece, I ordered the grande size.
True enough, when my niece learned that I had hot chocolate, she asked if she could sip some of the beverage. I gladly shared the chocolate drink after it had cooled down after some time. Then, I asked my nephew if he would like some too.
After one gulp, he turned to me and asked, “If you don’t like your chocolate, can I have it, please?”
