I chanced on the soft opening of Fitness First Philippines in the Mall of Asia on 12 October 2007 when I saw an ongoing demo of a couple of Fitness First instructors in the centermost building. I heard of the rumblings about the opening of a Fitness First branch in Trinoma from an instructor, which puzzled me because it was so near Fitness First ABS-CBN and North EDSA.
When I went to Trinoma, all became clear as I saw that it was a Fitness First Platinum branch, meaning that it will be patterned after its RCBC Plaza counterpart and will employ a different type of marketing.
When I inquired at Fitness First Platinum RCBC last month, the target opening date was October 2007, however, it has now been moved to November.
