KFC P. Tuazon Delivers Forgotten Rice (Eye)
My sister dropped by and brought KFC chicken for dinner on 27 October 2011. To her dismay, she discovered that her takeout did not include one order of rice.
I suggested we call the 887.8888 delivery number to find out if the rice could be delivered. The call agent gave us the KFC P. Tuazon branch number where my sister made her purchase. After several calls that were automatically transferred to a fax tone, someone finally picked it up.
Starbucks Ali Mall Honors All Requests (Eye)
A couple of birthdays demanded a couple of slices of chocolate desserts, so I passed by Starbucks in Ali Mall before a family luncheon on 23 October 2011.
Requesting for Desserts Since there were no desserts on display, I asked the barista if she could check if they had at the back.
Checking Oreo Cheesecake Size Since the Oreo Cheesecake size is constantly getting smaller as the months pass (probably due to ingredients’ cost), I requested to see the slices. I don’t think they diminished in size from the last time I ate Oreo Cheesecake at Starbucks Megamall, but I think my money would be better spent with chocolate cake slices instead.
SM Cubao Supermarket Staff Laughs at Client (Ire)
After suffering through a baleful head to toe look-over from a suspicious cashier, attempts to get me to tell persons who aren’t in authority (which will be a total waste of time since a security guard nor the customer service personnel can correct the situation) about why I requested for a supervisor, I finally got to speak with Cris, a SM Cubao Supermarket supervisor last 10 October 2011.
I recounted how my attention was caught by the laughter and sarcastic comment of the bagger attending to my purchases, “Ang galing ni ma’am.”
SM Southmall 3D Film and Popcorn Package (Ire)
My friend, Rhona Cantos – Trinidad, recounted her experience when her family of four watched the Pixar film Cars at SM Southmall on 02 September 2011. When she looked at the printed details on the 3D cinema tickets, she noted that it said Php 250 per ticket, yet she was charged Php 300 per ticket.
When she questioned the SM Southmall staff member, the explanation given was there was FREE popcorn included with every ticket purchase, and pointed out the stub that was supposed to be presented at the concessionaire in order to claim the snack.

There’s a lot of anxiety attached to returning merchandise, not knowing if it will be really replaced. I had a cd-r king Paper Shredder and DVD player that needed replacing, and I wasn’t sure of the outcome when I went to the cd-r king SM Cubao on 26 August 2011.
Return and Exchange Within Seven Days Thankfully, Asst. Manager Weng accommodated me when I requested for her. She perused the “receipt” and made sure it was within the seven-day period from date of purchase, which is the time allotment for product replacement.
Return and Exchange With Any cd-r king Branch Furthermore, I was surprised to learn that I could have had the items replaced with any cd-r king branch. Therefore, hypothetically, even if I had bought the items in Alabang, I could still have returned them in Cubao.
