BTI Money Transfer Returns Change (Eye)

To my relief, one of the remittance centers in Lucky Plaza on Orchard opened early at 8.30am last 29 July 2010. Although I have never used BTI Money Transfer before, it’s one of the accredited centers of BPI so I felt it was alright to try it.

To my surprise, not only do they open early, but, they also remit the money within the day so that it gets credited to one’s Philippine bank account on the same day for a fee of S$5.

On the other hand, Metro Remittance, the center that I previously used, takes around a couple of days for the remittance fee of S$4, so I gladly paid the extra S$1 for the faster transaction.

Global Residence Tiong Bahru Non Notice of Fogging (Ire)

My housemate was treated to repeated cussing on my part on the morning of 20 August 2010 (which I later apologized for via SMS). The reason for the s—t, f—k and p—a? Noxious gases from the regular conduction of fogging (to kill pests) were streaming in through the open windows and garbage chute in terrifying clouds.

I scrambled to close all possible entrances into the flat and hurriedly strove to cover the chute’s edges with masking tape while trying not to breathe, even though my heart was pounding with the sudden burst of energy.

DBS Harbourfront Credit Card Application (Eye)

I was ill prepared for my DBS Visa credit card application, which had the promo of a 5 year waiver of annual fees. Admittedly, most of it was my fault. First, I waited till the last day of the application for the card, which was 31 May 2010. Second, I glanced at the requirements really quickly and brought the original documents with me without making copies. Third, I did not make sure that I had all the necessary information required on the application form.

At the end of the I, Malvolio performance at the NAFA Studio Theatre on 26 May 2010, I requested to speak with the supervisor of the Singapore Arts Festival 2010 and ascertained that the seating policy for the venue is first come first served, as stated by ticketing agent SISTIC.

Supervisor Aaron confirmed the fact, therefore, I proceeded to list the reasons why I chose my seat on the fifth row, which an irate usher was trying unsuccessfully to eject me from for the sake of possible latecomers.
