Singapore Police Needs No Search Warrant for Drug Suspects

With a country that fines littering and spitting, I wasn’t surprised to learn that caning, stringent jail terms and even death are punishments for anything drug related. Recently, however, I found out that its laws are all encompassing for they literally put the law in the authority’s hands by removing the need for proof.

Cebu Pacific Air Pilot Averts Collision at Singapore Changi International Airport

I had the window seat 5F on flight 5J 807 from Manila to Singapore on 29 September 2010, so I had an excellent view of the external surroundings. Happily, I got much more than what I expected and found that the ‘8 Smart Reasons to Choose gohotels.ph’ advertising line was pretty accurate.

BTI Money Transfer Returns Change (Eye)

To my surprise, not only do they open early, but, they also remit the money within the day so that it gets credited to one’s Philippine bank account on the same day for a fee of S$5.

On the other hand, Metro Remittance, the center that I previously used, takes around a couple of days for the remittance fee of S$4, so I gladly paid the extra S$1 for the faster transaction.
