I passed by Mr. Quickie Ali Mall to have the zipper of a belt bag repaired. It was already the nth time for that particular item to be repaired for the same problem because of my tendency to over stuff the small compartment and to strain it at the seams.

I was apprehensive of the cost, because even a small length of zipper can still cost as much as Php 90.

When the Mr. Quickie Ali Mall saleslady returned from the back of the shop with the belt bag zipper all repaired, I inquired how much.

I arrived at Banco de Oro SM Cubao branch an hour before its closing on 06 June 2009. Since it was my first time to visit the newly renovated bank, I just grabbed a slip, picked a line randomly, and, while standing, began to scribble furiously on the bank deposit slip.

A few seconds later, a guard approached me and advised that the single transaction lane was on the other side. I thanked him and scrambled to move to the correct line.
