Chuckles — The Big Bang Theory and 2 Broke Girls at the Super Bowl
In the flurry of Super Bowl commercials, it totally escaped me that CBS shows The Big Bang Theory and 2 Broke Girls had TVCs for the big football event, until an inappropriate tweet that resulted in an unceremonious dismissal brought my attention to them.
The Big Bang Theory TVC used the cluelessness of otherwise brilliant scientist Leonard Hofstadter as its punch line, with knowledgeable Sheldon Cooper and Penny pointing out his erroneous donning of the football uniform. Howard, Raj, Bernadette and Amy also joined the trio in a dramatic walk down the tunnel that showed they were the right stuff.
As for 2 Broke Girls, Max and Caroline go on fantasy mode for the Super Bowl, wearing sequined versions of their skimpy waitress uniforms to become pole dancers, with all the other TV series characters making appearances, notably Jennifer Coolidge as Sophie, aka as Stifler’s mom from American Pie, naughtily eating a red cherry.
