Circuit Theatre Makati Will Meet Broadway Standards

Fresh from her Broadway debut in the revival of Godspell, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle joined Ms. Saigon alumnus Leo Valdez and local artists Christian Bautista, Ria Quizon and Karylle in the launch of Circuit Makati last 15 January 2012.

Circuit Makati intends to be the center of interactive family entertainment that includes the Circuit Theatre, which “is being designed to meet Broadway standards and will feature both world-class Filipino entertainment and foreign plays. It will have a 96 sq.m. stage and an orchestra pit that can fit at least 60 musicians.”

The 21-hectare project of the Ayalas will also feature the Circuit Lane, “an interactive walk with a multi-purpose black box for more intimate shows, recitals, workshops, and parties;” as well as the Circuit Event Grounds, “a two-hectare venue that can accommodate 20,000 people for various events such as concerts, dance and theatre performances, fashion shows, and even outdoor sporting events such as football.”
