Cebu Pacific Demands Flight Attendants to Dance, Host & Sell

While flying to and from Singapore last year (2010), I never experienced the Cebu Pacific safety instructions via dance by its flight attendants. If I had, part of me would have stared in horrified fascination. Although it’s innovative and very Pinoy, I’m wary of it for two reasons:
Salary Compensation Cebu Pacific is a budget airline, so I’m assuming that their flight personnel is being paid less when compared to Philippine Airlines employees. Yet, on top of the usual duties of a flight attendant, they’re asked to dance and host games and sell products. A bit much. (If this dancing is being continued presently, I hope their compensation has been increased accordingly.)
Intellectual Property Compensation Since Cebu Pacific is using music by Lady GaGa and Katy Perry, I sincerely hope its legal department has cleared this with the corresponding companies and/or individuals that own these pieces of music. I’m not too sure the artists would agree to their music being used in this manner.
