Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini

I was afraid this would happen. I read an excerpt from another book from the Harper Teen’s The Dark Days of Supernatural series and wanted to read more. I only started Divergent by Veronica Roth because I knew I could buy it from Fully Booked.
Foolishly, I read the first five chapters of Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini, sent via email by Harper Teen, was entranced, and now in a semi-frustrated state because I don’t have the rest of the book.
I am only partially frustrated because I have already called Fully Booked Gateway Mall and found out that there’s a pending order for Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini. Okay, I’ve put in my reservation. I just have to be patient for approximately two to three months.
So, what’s Starcrossed about? It’s being marketed as a Percy Jackson for teenage girls. As I’ve written on this blog repeatedly, I love the Percy Jackson series. And, Starcrossed has a bit of Twilight in it with the lead male and female characters wanting to kill each other. A book that’s a combination of Percy Jackson and Twilight?
