TheBachelorGirl Turns 5

With the multitude of concerns for the past two months, it completely slipped my mind that TheBachelorGirl has turned 5 years old since its inception on July 2005.
The major difference this year, as my sister has pointed out, is that the blog has covered both the Philippine and Singapore theatre scene since my relocation (due to my one year contract with Universal Studios Singapore — which is set to end by November of 2010, by the way).
Aside from that, since I am now an OFW, I created a category entitled Buhay OFW to document some of my experiences as one, from the not so simple task of getting a passport to the totally invasive question of ‘Are you pregnant?’ that’s asked of female OFWs as they leave the Philippine airport.
I’m not totally sure of what’s in store for the years to come, but, definitely, I would like to thank all of the readers of TheBachelorGirl for sharing in my growth as an individual and as a writer. Thank you very much!
And, when I find the opportunity, I will pass by a Carl’s Jr. to get for myself a Portobello Mushroom Burger to celebrate…
