I am such a meanie, but, I am so glad that Carrie cheated on Big with a kiss with Aidan in Sex and the City 2! Yipee!
Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed Cynthia Nixon as Miranda uncharacteristically being the ‘Let’s have fun!’ gal during the trip to Abu Dhabi, Samantha and her antics, the fashion, the choir singing ‘If Ever I Would Leave You’ at the wedding, and the performance of Liza Minnelli of the Beyonce hit Single Ladies
Although the critics may be correct in calling the film “tasteless” and containing “flyweight bubbleheads,” it is eye candy. Don’t expect much, and, definitely don’t count on the film to have the depth and insight of its HBO series counterpart. It’s just a romp. That’s it.
And, for those who want to learn more about the actor playing Aidan, John Corbett, here’s a video interview of the charismatic man with Entertainment Tonight, where he reveals that he thinks Sarah Jessica Parker is like a “jockey” and how he and “Mr. Big” have become friends.
