Repertory Philippines Romeo and Bernadette Features Thespian Cris Villonco

Cris Villonco last appeared in the local theatre scene in 2008, and, after an exciting period that included several accolades for her work, left to work in Disneyland Hong Kong for a couple of years. Now, the talented thespian is back in town to tackle another role in a Repertory Philippines production.

Of her role in Romeo and Bernadette as “a sexy, vulgar, spoiled brat who in reality is a sincere lover,” Cris Villonco tells Boy Villasanta of ABS-CBN News :

It is a challenging role since it’s a comic [one] because I am not used to comedy. I am more of a serious person and I love playing serious characters.
