Universal Studios Singapore Lost and Found System (Eye)

On 12 January 2010, I left my belt bag in the toilets near the Waterworld area at the Universal Studios in Singapore. When I rushed back to the rest rooms, I couldn’t locate the female attendant, making me very anxious.

Noticing my distress, a gentleman inquired whether I was the owner of a black bag. When I said yes, he informed me that it had been taken to the ticketing office where all lost and found items were brought.

However, rehearsals were about to start, and, since the ticketing office is very far from my present location, there was no way I could make it back in time if I had proceeded to claim my black bag. Making a mental note to go during my lunch break, I resigned myself to be patient.

My patience was rewarded quite unexpectedly. My stage manager approached me about an hour later, handing over my black belt bag. I profusely thanked her and tried to find out how she came into possession of it.

It seems that Waterworld rest room female attendant Zuriana Binti Sidek had given my bag to the ticketing office, whose staff went out of their way to find out who I was, gave the bag to a stage manager who knew my stage manager, Herne Abdul, who, in turn, handed over the bag to me.

Thank you to Zuriana Binti Sidek, Herne Abdul and the unknown yet very kind and honest staff of Universal Studios Singapore’s ticketing and technical staff.
