NV: Opening Of "Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular"

A major creative force of the theatre world has announced that he is suffering from prostate cancer. A representative of Phantom of the Opera composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has stated that his “condition is in its early stages” and is “now undergoing treatment and expects to be fully back at work before the end of the year.”

MSNBC reports that the prolific composer of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita already has plans for his next project.

Lloyd Webber recently announced plans for a sequel to his phenomenally successful musical “Phantom of the Opera.” Called “Love Never Dies,” it is scheduled to open in London in March [2010] and follow on Broadway in November [2010]. Rehearsals begin in the new year.

    As many of Musicals lovers I LOVE the Phantom of the Opera! It is my favourite ever… Last year I’ve been in NY & I tried to get my ticket …guess what everything was sold out that show how great the show is. Anyhow I end up getting it from a site through Casatickets.com. Next week I’m going to visit my sister and I just got some pretty good tix from the same place
