Filipino Stopped at MRT Singapore Station After Taking Picture

While waiting inside the MRT Singapore station for the train to arrive, Filipino Marvin Tomandao cheerfully asked his friend to take a picture of him in front of the sliding doors, which, upon opening, lead into the interiors of the train.

Barely had three seconds passed after the deed had been done when five burly security personnel descended upon the small group of Filipinos, requesting to see the picture.

Armed with his charm, Marvin Tomandao explained that it’s their first time and that they were only taking the picture as remembrance, etc.

They were “released” with the warning not to do it again.

As Marvin pointed out to me later, there’s a multitude of security cameras trained on the passengers entering the stations, and boarding and alighting from the trains. And it seems there are eagle eyes behind those security cameras.
