Lea Salonga Raises P1M for Typhoon Ondoy Victims

Through her twitter account, Lea Salonga shares that the Manhattan New York benefit concert for the Typhoon Ondoy victims managed to raise a generous amount.
The benefit raised around P1M (roughly $20,000). Thanks, everyone!
Previously, the Tony and Olivier awardee announced the concert through her Philippine Daily Inquirer column.
[I'll be in] Manhattan to perform in a benefit for Tropical Storm “Ondoy” victims at the Philippine Center (which houses the Philippine Consulate) on Oct. 12 [2009]. The Ayala Foundation will be handling the donations.
