TheBachelorGirl Relocates to Singapore

A group of 7 Filipinos out of an estimated 50 were among the first batch of Filipino artists who left on 25 October 2009 for Singapore in preparation for the grand opening of Universal Studios in 2010
I was very happy that our flight was on the national carrier Philippine Airlines because it seemed to make the departure more meaningful. Aside from the Sunday sunrise gilding the tails of the sun design on the tails of the PAL airplanes on the Centennial Airport tarmac, a breakfast of adobo, rice, egg and tomato was so Filipino in nature that it was a fitting repast for an adventure about to be undertaken. No wonder that my seatmates JC and Marvin ordered the same thing.

I’d like to thank Sacred Heart International Services Representative Sir Mark for taking care of us so well, and the Universal Studios group led by Greg and Audrey for taking the time on that Sunday morning to make us feel so welcome, from a personal hug and greeting at the Changi airport to the detailed MRT trip to familiarize us with the transport system. We’re all truly excited to be part of the Universal Studios Grand Opening!
