Chuckles — The French Connection (Part 2)

Excitedly chattering about their next stop, Italy, the Filipinas traveling together through Europe were brought up short when their cab driver interjected, “Ah, Filipinas! Here, look at this album.”

The driver handed them a small photo album that showed a house. He explained, “I have a house in San Fernando Pampanga.”

He continued, “I will call my wife. She is very happy every time I meet people from the Philippines riding my cab.”

His Filipina wife, upon learning that she and the husband of one of the ladies are from the same province, excitedly urged them to visit at that very moment, “Punta kayo dito! Pagluluto ko kayo ng sinigang! (Please come and visit me! I will cook for you!)”

Unfortunately, they were in a hurry to catch a train, so they had to refuse the generous invitation.
