Replacement of LRT 1 & 2 Stored Value Card (Eye)

I went to the LRT 1 United Nations station and explained to the staff member that my Php 100 stored value card was not exited properly because the LRT 2 train I was riding on 27 August 2009 had stopped and the whole system had shut down, i.e. it was a code yellow situation wherein new passengers were not allowed to enter and the train passengers were requested to alight and exit the station.

The LRT 2 guard advised us that the cards were good for five days, but, I wanted to have the card “fixed” ASAP, so I used it that very same night at the LRT 1 UN station.

The LRT 1 staff member made a call, presumably to ascertain the validity of my statement of a stalled train and a system shutdown, after which he informed me that my Php 100 stored value card will be replaced with a new one.

Thank you to the LRT 1 & 2 staff for their efficiency!
