Aside from winning the Tony for Best Musical, the stage adaptation of the film Billy Elliot won Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for actors David Alvarez, Kiril Kulish and Trent Kowalik, plus other wins in other categories for a total of ten Tonys.
