Skechers Meet David Cook in Manila Contest Winner
When Yasmin learned that she was the first prize winner of the Skechers contest, which included 2 passes to meet David Cook in person plus 2 VIP tickets to the David Cook and David Archuleta Concert, she recounted, “I was screaming at the top of my lungs!â€
On 16 May 2009, Yasmin and her mom were escorted backstage to meet Skechers global endorser — David Cook. Yasmin shared with the American Idol winner that she was not the only fan in the family, “I told David Cook that my grandma was a BIG fan!”
The revelation sent American Idol runner up David Archuleta into gales of laughter, who kindly joined the picture taking together with David Cook, thus, doubling the Skechers experience for Yasmin and her mom.
Later, they joined a crowd of 40,000 at the Mall of Asia open grounds where the two Davids had their first back to back concert.
