When you are holding on to a script that’s a sequel to a film that has made $350M and counting, plus, another script that stars a future likely to be bankable actor, I think you should take extra care of keeping your scripts safe to the point of obsessive compulsive.
Tony Award nominee Anna Kendrick, who stars in The Twilight Saga as Jessica, is the alleged negligent actor who might have left her scripts in her St. Louis hotel while shooting another film, which might have been mistaken for trash and ended up in the bin where a beauty salon owner spotted it. Access Hollywood reports.
[Beauty salon owner Casey] Ray recently was waiting for her fiancé to finish work when she spotted two scripts in a trash container. She was outside a hotel where actors were staying during a St. Louis shoot for the upcoming George Clooney movie, “Up in the Air.â€
I sincerely hope that Anna Kendrick can clear her name, and, if she is found guilty, I hope there will be no legal repercussions.
In the Philippine setting, the most “dangerous” situation I can think of is if you’re shooting for rival TV stations. Then you have to take great care to keep the scripts safe and confidential, because most sequences are shot a few days before they are aired. If possible, just bring the necessary script for the day.
