Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince World Premiere

Harry Potter series author J.K. Rowling attended the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at the Odeon Leicester Square on 07 July 2009 in London, England. The stars of the series were on hand as well for the momentous occasion, even Rupert Grint who has fully recovered from a recent bout with swine flu. The red haired actor shares with MTV how “gutted” he was about the non-inclusion of Quidditch in the previous Harry Potter film.
I was actually really gutted last year because that is sort of Ron’s big Quidditch moment and I was really upset they didn’t have that in [Order of the Phoenix]. I was really looking forward to doing it this time, but it’s actually sort of an anticlimax because it’s really hard work. You’re on a broom for a long time, like a few hours at a go. You’re literally sitting on a broom and it gets a little bit sore down under a bit. It’s been fun, but it’s quite hard work.
Emma Watson described her kissing scenes with co-star Rupert Grint as “horrible.”
[It] was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had to do … it just felt like incest. That’s the only way I can describe it. It was fine that I was actually kissing him because I had my eyes closed so I could not think about the fact that it was him. The worst bit is when we had to open our eyes and look at each other because then I was just like, (laughs) and then we couldn’t keep going. But we did it in the end. Six takes — not bad. It could be worse.
And Daniel Radcliffe has his own love interest in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, namely, Ginny Weasley in the form of actress Bonnie Wright; but, claims that he is not that interesting in real life, which made his co-star Tom “Draco Malfoy” Fenton quip, “Beautifully answered.”
The me who sits in a darkened room for eight hours who watches cricket with a big bowl of pasta in my socks and underwear is not nearly as appealing to women.
