Chuckles — The Twilighter with the Frozen Butt
An owner of a recently acquired Blackberry and a current subscriber to the worldwide WiFi provided by Blackberry, a fan of The Twilight Saga series was in Beijing with friends in the famous Silk Market in April 2009.
However, instead of scouring through the stalls for bargains and finds, the Twilighter chose to stay near the entrance and wait for her friends to finish shopping.
While waiting, she decided to bring out her Blackberry and see if there was a WiFi signal.
To her surprise, there was a faint WiFi signal.
As she moved around to find a better WiFi signal, she realized that the signal kept getting stronger when she went near a certain cafe, whose entrance, unfortunately, can only be accessed by going outside the Silk Market in -1 degree freezing cold weather.
As she stared through the glass panel doors, she decided to venture out to the chilly street, only to discover the cafe to be jam-packed with people, making it impossible for her to enter the premises.
Instead of scuttling back inside the warm interiors of the Silk Market, she opted to huddle on the steps and brave the cold where she could still get the strong WiFi signal from the cafe.

Lorna, you’re making me addicted to your blog! I’m here freezing my ass off in Beijing side streets because I could get WiFi signal out here, and I’m totally ignoring all the sights this place has to offer! Argh!
