Skechers Splashes at the SpongeBob SquarePants Big Wave Party
Skechers joined the Nicksters and the Bikini Bottom gang at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field (behind the NBC Tent) on 25 April 2009 to celebrate the premiere of SpongeBob SquarePants and the Big Wave on the Nickelodeon Philippines channel.
In the TV special, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick and Squidward had to learn how to balance on the surfboard in order to ride the legendary Big Wave back to Bikini Bottom, so the Nicksters had a splashy time holding on to a mini-surfboard that they passed around during the Play the Pass the Surfboard game.
Skechers also challenged Nicksters with the Cali Gear Shoes Search game where kids inside an inflated pool filled with balls and Skechers Cali Gear shoes were given 30 seconds to match a pair of shoes with the same color and size.
