What is it about the Brits these days. First, Susan Boyle brings me to tears last night with her I Dreamed a Dream rendition during the Britain’s Got Talent show, and now, this latest Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer causes rivulets of tears from my eyes.
I don’t know if it’s the sight of a very vulnerable Dumbledore, or the outraged cry of Harry to Snape, but, the image of Katie in her red coat as she rises into the air in a crucified position just did me in.
May I just declare, I love you, David Yates! (He’s the director of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix films, and has saved the series from the mangled handling of the He Who Must Not Be Named director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and continues the groundbreaking work of Alfonso Cuaron in the third film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.)
