Charice Pempengco Performs for Muhammad Ali in Celebrity Fight Night XV

Recently, the retired boxer was feted in a memorable Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XV by celebrities that ranged from Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps to Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker.
The list of entertainers included our very own Charice Pempengco, who performed with Jon Bon Jovi, Roy Firestone, Michael Johns, Lucia Micarelli, William Joseph and Ethan Bortnick. Musical Director was David Foster and Reba McEntire hosted the program.
Wearing black shorts and a red top, Charice delighted the crowd when she did the famous Ali Shuffle and belted out I Will Survive, Billie Jean and Listen. To watch, please visit her YouTube channel.
(Incidentally, aside from being the first mall in the Philippines, Ali Mall in Araneta Center can boast of being named after boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who personally attended its inauguration when he was here in the Philippines for the famous Thrilla in Manila bout with Joe Frazier in 1975.)
