Watsons Lower Price Policy Charge (Ire)
Should there be a discrepancy between the shelf tag and the price shown on the cash register, Watsons policy is to charge the lower price.
Seeing this sign in Watsons SM Cubao should have pleased me, but, seeing it irritated me instead for I had been in Watsons Greenbelt 3 Makati earlier where exactly the opposite occurred.
I pointed out to the Watsons Greenbelt 3 Makati cashier that there was a difference between the price that was displayed on the shelf and what they were actually charging me when I was about to pay at the cash register.
I spoke with the supervisor of Watsons Greenbelt 3 Makati regarding my observation. However, I was still charged the higher price.
And then, I see this sign a couple of days after the incident, which, by the way, was not displayed on the cash register area in Watsons Greenbelt 3 Makati, therefore, I’m sure you can understand the cause of my irritation.
