How to Become a Spelling Bee Manila Guest Speller

Do you want to be a Guest Speller during one of the shows of Spelling Bee Manila? There are two slots per show that are open for theatre audience members.

What are the requirements?

1. Please call Atlantis at 892.7078 and inform the staff regarding the date and time of the Spelling Bee Manila show that you wish to become a Guest Speller. Your name will be included in a list of volunteers.
2. Please be at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium 30 minutes or earlier before the show.
3. Please be informed that the Atlantis management reserves the right to choose the Guest Spellers.
4. If you are chosen as a Guest Speller, you will be briefed before the show. Please follow the instructions.
5. Please be informed that each Guest Speller will be onstage for varying periods that range from 15-50 minutes.

Tip: Spelling Bee Manila Director Bobby Garcia is looking for audience members who can look serious about joining a Spelling Bee contest. Watch the video below and see how “serious” the contestants can get about spelling a word correctly. Not that you necessarily need to go to that level, but, at least have a modicum of.

    Thanks Lorna. By the way, my friend in Cebu is asking what the days of the July run are. She will have to be in Cebu from June 29 to July 11. Will she be able to catch any shows? Like July 12 and onwards?

    Hi Fred. Yes, I read your review and knew about your foreign guest. I also read with great consternation your swallowing seminars. I never knew that such a condition existed.

    Yes, there will be a Spelling Bee rerun. FYI, I’m helping a friend sell tickets for the 11 July 2009 2pm show. Thank you. :-)

    Hi Lorna. Too bad I did not read this before I watched. I would have wanted to volunteer to spell. But then again, since I brought a foreign guest that night to watch the show with me, maybe not. Haha!

    By the way, did Chari give you more pics of us spelling? Sadly, the ones I got of you were blurry due to insufficient lighting. :(
