Starbucks SM Megamall Atrium Buy One Take One Offer (Ire)
A friend and I lined up at the newly opened Starbucks Mega Atrium at SM Megamall 4L last night, 03 March 2009, and ordered our drinks of Green Tea Frappuccino and Signature Hot Chocolate. We also handed over a Starbucks Mega Atrium coupon that’s basically a Buy One Take One offer.
To clarify the transaction, I asked how much were the drinks so that we could be within its conditions. When I learned that the Grande sized Green Tea Frap was around Php 155, I said that I would have a Venti (a bigger size) Signature Hot Chocolate, which costs approximately Php 145.
However, the Starbucks barrista said that I couldn’t have the bigger size because my drink must also be grande, the same size as the Green Tea frap.
I protested that that’s not what’s written on the Starbucks coupon. The barrista read the condition.

Yet, he still insisted that I can only have a grande, so, I said no, I can have a venti Signature Hot Chocolate because it’s cheaper than the Green Tea frap even though it’s a bigger size.
The Starbucks barrista consulted with a manager and was corrected regarding what the condition meant.
