John Lloyd Cruz & Sarah Geronimo in You Changed My Life Premiere

While walking briskly to the entrance of SM Megamall last night, 24 February 2009, the sight of a cluster of black garbed security personnel gave me an inkling that there was an event.

As I came nearer, the photo opp wall with the movie title You Changed My Life emblazoned across it made me remember the special event posted by Girlie Rodis on her Multiply account regarding the premiere of the Cathy Garcia-Molina directed film.

From the first to the third level where the premiere was going to be held, excited throngs waited behind the lines, hoping to see their favorite stars.

I was tempted to text Girlie Rodis to ask if she had an extra You Changed My Life premiere ticket, but, I had a meeting with someone at 7.30pm; and, if ever, it would be the third time I would have inquired, since I already requested previously from Irma Adlawan and Kahlila Aguilos.

I guess I’ll just watch You Changed My Life tonight and/or over the weekend. I’m crossing my fingers that it’s going to be great. From the short description of the storyline, I’m guessing its rhythm and content will be less kilig and more reality based in the sense that the characters of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo have to work out their relationship in the face of challenges and distractions.
