Eating the Forbidden Chocolate

Ah, it’s Friday. The start of another weekend of performances of Portrait of the Artist as Filipino for Repertory Philippines. It also means abstaining from chocolate products since it can cause reflux in the stomach, which will mean acid buildup, which, in turn, can irritate the vocal cords.

However, it can mean looking forward to Sunday night when a certain level of gluttony of chocolate will be allowed, like a Starbucks Chocolate Cake and a venti-sized Signature Hot Chocolate Drink.
