Grammy Winner Ne-yo Arrested then Released
E! Online reports that about a week before his Manila concerts, Grammy award winning R & B artist Ne-yo was arrested for reckless driving and driving without a license when his vehicle was clocked at going more than 100mph.
Ne-yo was later released by paying the $1,300 bond, which, of course, makes him free to honor his commitment to perform live on 29 February and 01 March 2008 at the Araneta Coliseum.
E! Online also relates how Ne-yo is also embroiled in a lawsuit against the R. Kelly concert promoter, who has removed Ne-yo from the exciting team up concert of the duo, fittingly titled Double Up Tour.
Ne-yo is probably feeling a bit personally, legally and artistically bruised right now, so for the Filipino Ne-yo fans, try to show him some love during the concerts, guys!
