Gibbs Cadiz Gives Me a Hamlet Surprise

On 07 February 2008 Gibbs Cadiz wrote a post that includes this assertion, “Lorna, you know what you are? A miracle worker. Your mission in life is clear: to convert the rest of The Man Bloggers. There are 14 of them. Two down, 12 to go!”

This will list my reactions to the totally unexpected article by Gibbs Cadiz.

Welcome, Initiates! It all started for me when I read on my Word Press Links that someone with a post entitled “Welcome, Initiates!” has linked to my site. Who on earth would link to my site and use the word initiate? A fraternity?!? Good grief!!!

I’m Perplexed As my slow dial up began loading Gibbs Cadiz’s page on Blogspot, I was perplexed. I got even more confused when I read the first paragraph, “So you think I’m being swell by inviting bloggers to join me in watching and writing about plays? Wait until you hear what Lorna aka The Bachelor Girl has been up to.” What the heck is he talking about?

Uhm, I’m Overwhelmed As Gibbs gives details of his thoughts on how “Lorna managed to convince these two card-carrying pillars of the alpha-male club (The Man Blog) to try Shakespeare,” I got overwhelmed.

I’m Laughing By the end of it, though, I was laughing, and left a comment that this was “just hilarious.”

Thank you very much, Gibbs! Thanks again, Gibbs!

And it was great that you passed by Happy Slip’s Meet and Greet yesterday at Mag:net Café. At least I was able to thank you personally.
