Happy Feet Makes Me Happy

Happy Feet Theatrical Poster

Happy Feet made me get up and dance.

Happy Feet made me hang out at HBO Asia more than usual, where it’s airing for a limited period on February 2008.

Happy Feet made me regret that I was not able to see it on the big screen instead of the much smaller TV screen.

Happy Feet made me give myself an imaginary pat on the back for not succumbing to watch it during a self-imposed ban on a majority of the Warner Brothers films and all of New Line Cinema films until the $100 million dollar dispute between Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson and they are resolved.

Happy Feet made me reach for my copy of JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit to read again The Lord of the Rings series. Happy Feet made me remember how much I missed LOTR, mainly because Elijah Wood, who played Frodo in The Lord of the Rings series, voiced Happy Feet’s lead character, Mumble.

Happy Feet made me find out, upon reading the final credits, that female actor Brittany Murphy can sing really well.

Happy Feet made me give a nod of enthusiastic agreement upon learning that it won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

Happy Feet makes me happy.

Happy Feet will make me go and buy a DVD copy.
