LRT & MRT with Berso sa Metro

I read about the Berso sa Metro campaign last October 2007 from an article in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. I was charmed when I actually saw a Berso sa Metro when I rode the LRT 1, with a quotation from the play of celebrated Spanish playwright Pedro Calderon de la Barca (1600-1681) La Vida es Sueno (Life is a Dream), which was translated into Filipino.
¿Qué es la vida? Un frenesí.
Ano nga ba ang buhay? Isang kahibangan;
¿Qué es la vida? Una ilusión,
Ano nga ba ang buhay? Isang ilusyon;
una sombra, una ficción,
Isang anino, isang kasinungalingan,
y el mayor bien es pequeño;
According to Click the City, the Berso sa Metro campaign will be expanded to the LRT 2 and the MRT (I haven’t seen it yet though. I’ll keep an eye out.)
The promotional reading campaign of the Berso sa Metro project is spearheaded by Instituto Cervantes in collaboration with the Light Rail Transit Authority, the Metrostar Express, the National Historic Institute and the Committee for the Filipino-Spanish Friendship Day.

really like the berso sa metro. just wish they would make the font of the text bigger to make the reading more passenger-friendly.=)
