Hairspray Manila Auditions for Singers
Date: 08 April 2008 Tuesday
Time: 11am-4pm (sign up begins at 10.30am)
What: Prepare to sing 16 bars of a musical theatre song. Bring a minus one CD or piano score for accompaniment, and a recent photo.

Hairspray Manila Auditions for Dancers
Date: 11 April 2008 Friday
Time: 11am-4pm (sign up begins at 10.30am)
What: Prepare to learn a dance combination. Bring your most recent photo.

Hairspray Manila Auditions Venue
Both the auditions for singers and dancers will be at:
Studio V
Dona Hemady corner 8th St.
New Manila, Quezon City

Atlantis Productions Atlantis Productions brings Hairspray, winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, for a November to December run in Manila. Atlantis Productions past productions include other Tony award winning musicals like Avenue Q and Rent.

    If only I can sing or dance as well as the rest of them Broadway lots out there, I’d so go for the auditions.

    Why can’t I be talented in that area? :(

    I changed my email address from the gmail to the yahoo one and it worked. I guess my gmail address is blocked for some reason. :p

    Anyway, I’m really interested in the Altar Boys show and Ross is asking if you’re selling tickets other than the Saturday 3:30pm one. Maybe Saturday night or Sunday afternoon? Or do I have to buy it from Ticket World again? :(

    Oh no. I recently watched Hairspray and some of its songs had been stuck on my head esp. You Can’t Stop The Beat. Sadly, I’m 16 and don’t have formal vocal training.

    If only Hairspray would be mounted after the musical workshop I enrolled ends. Haha.

    My friends jokingly says I should audition for the character of Tracy Turnblad, lolz. I’m too young daw for Tracy’s mother role.
