West Side Story Manila Stages Production Specialists, the group that produced Disney’s High School Musical with Sam Concepcion playing Troy Bolton, has plans of updating the Tony award winning musical West Side Story. This exciting version will star Christian Bautista as Tony. The musical will be staged at Meralco Theater from September to October 2008.
Hairspray Manila Atlantis Productions, producer of the highly successful Avenue Q Manila run, will bring the Tony Award winning musical to Manila at the Star Theatre CCP Complex on 06 December 2008 2pm.
Tuesdays with Morrie Manila The New York Times bestselling book is brought onstage for the first time in the Philippines by Repertory Philippines, and stars theatre stalwarts Jose Mari Avellana and Bart Guingona. Our block was on 26 January 2008, Saturday, 8pm at OnStage Greenbelt.
Repertory Philippines Hamlet The directorial debut of Ana Abad Santos-Bitong was coupled with the debut run of Repertory Philippines version of Shakespeare’s Hamlet on 16 February 2008 8pm at Onstage Greenbelt.
