Lea Salonga Sings the Theme Song of Animated Film Dayo
Lea Salonga has provided the singing voice for two of the most popular Disney princesses — Princess Jasmine and Mulan. Now, she makes another landmark in her illustrious career. This time, she has agreed to sing the theme song of the first fully digital full-length film that’s done by an all Filipino team — Lipad from the animated film Dayo.
The theme song is perfect for the multi-awarded singer, since it exhorts flying and reaching for your dreams despite all obstacles, a struggle that mirrors her real life attempts to realize her artistic vision.
An official entry to the Metro Manila film festival, Dayo will officially open on 25 December 2008. There will be a premiere at SM Megamall on 19 December 2008.
